Our liability for loss or damage to cargo is strictly limited. In most cases, we're bound by statutory limits per pound or per package unless a higher value is declared in writing before transit.
It's important to understand that DE SANTIAGO DISTRIBUTION LLC doesn't assume the role of an insurer. We strongly recommend that all shippers maintain separate cargo insurance for high-value freight.
Ever wondered why transit times are estimates? Factors like severe weather, traffic congestion, or port strikes are beyond our direct control.
We don't guarantee specific delivery times. We won't be held liable for consequential or indirect losses stemming from delays. We're committed to the fastest possible transit, but safety and compliance come first.
Payment for transportation services at DE SANTIAGO DISTRIBUTION LLC is due within 15 days of invoice date unless otherwise specified in your service contract. Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly finance charge.
We're strict about our billing to keep our trucks moving. All claims must be settled independently of freight charges. You can't deduct claim amounts from open invoices.
